Bath January 2016

Brighton 2014 (28-31 January 2014)

Here we come!

After all those English lessons, on the 28 January a group of 46 students had the opportunity of trying their English on the spot. Accompanying these hopefuls were 4 teachers.
After a horribly early start and a 5h coach trip, we arrived at the BK in Brighton.

We then admired the Royal Pavilion and the lovely shops and their marvellous prices. After meeting up with our super English host families in Lancing, we enjoyed our first meal and our first night in England.
Subsequent mornings were spent at lessons – a bit long – when we thought of all there was to see and of course the shopping!
Still we did have a lot of free time.

The next day we visited Nelson’s famous ship, the HMS Victory and … of course, more shopping!
On Thursday we saw Chichester and the Fishbourne Roman Palace and enjoyed a meal at the KFC. All too soon Friday arrived and after seeing the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral, we enjoyed our last shopping trip!

Our English has got better and better…practice makes perfect…so where will we go next time?

Guy Delforge

Guy_Delforge_PG_ACCOoh, what a gorgeous smell!

As it isn’t very often that one has the chance to see how top-quality perfumes are made, we, 1 CIMA & 2 CIMA and 3 of our teachers, went to Namur this 28 September 2012.
After climbing up to the Citadelle, we admired the splendid views whilst getting our breath back.
Then down into the casemates where some (not all of course) of the mysteries of making these gorgeous perfumes were unfolded.

Guy Delforge is a Belgian leading perfumer and we were all amazed by the science he and his assistants use to make these beautiful fragrances.
A really interesting visit! Guess what? Of course we all returned home with some of these truly marvellous perfumes and essential oils.
